Design approach
The service supports keyboard controls, visible focus, sufficient contrast, reduced motion, responsive zoom, compact mobile panels, and a text list for loaded detections. Essential safety text does not rely on colour alone.
Known limitation
The interactive third-party map canvas has inherent accessibility limitations. The detection list, source status, methodology, and safety pages provide textual alternatives, and the application remains usable when the basemap fails.
